California-based Outerknown just released a new collection of t-shirts that are cut, sewn and dyed in downtown Los Angeles. The S.E.A. (Social and Environmental Accountability) tees are made from organic cotton and are produced under the strictest ethical manufacturing standards. As opposed to shirts that use conventional cotton and traditional manufacturing, S.E.A. tees save 71 gallons of water in the production process — that’s 90 percent less water than the industry standard.
Available in three styles — a pocket tee, a crew neck and a v-neck — these shirts come in 15 different colors and retail for $38. Sustainability aside, they are fantastic shirts with classic cuts that will look good on any guy, so if you’re looking for a new great tee, and you want to invest in something that’s made the right way, these are well worth the money.
