Every day, our team filters through hundreds, if not thousands, of style articles, clothing pieces, collection launches, brand parties, blogger fads, runway shows, fashion shoots, lookbooks and many, many more stimuli to stay on top of what’s hot in men’s fashion. In spite of all that noise, we’ll keep things simple here: just four things we’re into right now, updated each week.
3sixteen Type 3s Chocolate Suede Jacket

A collaboration between 3sixteen and Oakland-based retailer Standard & Strange, this jacket is a modern take on the classic trucker. Crafted at Simmons Bilt in Scotland, it’s fully lined and cut from beautiful chocolate suede, which contributes to the $850 price tag. It’s certainly an investment but it will prove to be a staple of your wardrobe for decades to come. Available for pre-order.
Filson Ranger Backpack

So, Filson is doing exclusive colorways for Mr Porter now. There’s something sad about thrusting a trusted Northwest heritage brand into the world of fashion collabs and exclusives. But it’s also hard to deny that this is a good-looking pack. The body of the bag is made from a weather-resistant navy twill and the top flap is cut from durable grey felt. It’s not something forestry workers will use on the job, and that’s just the point.
