Not so long ago, Target’s style section was defined by poor-fitting Arizona jeans, gaudy striped Mossimo t-shirts and faux-luxury Merona basics. Even the name of the latter sounds like it’s trying too hard. With this type of sartorial past, few would have predicted that one of fall’s most intriguing collections is their new men’s line, Goodfellow & Co., launching nationwide on August 27th.
Standouts from the collection include the line of slim-fitting chinos ($23), available in muted colors such as gray and army green, and the Deconstructed Chino Blazer ($40). Shoppers might also be surprised to find selvedge denim and an insulated bomber jacket ($45) – all for less than you would spend on sale items at J. Crew.
