Natural dyed fabrics are idiosyncratic and captivating. The colors are rich, yet hues vary across a textile. The lack of uniformity gives the dyed material depth and character that synthetic dyed fabrics can’t replicate. To capture this magic, Los Angeles–based shirt maker Goodlife teamed up with American Trench to produce natural dyed tees available in Summer Blue (dyed with natural indigo) and Weathered Red (dyed with a blend of alum, madder and Quebracho Rojo). Retailing for $65, the shirts are made from a blend of American-grown Supima cotton and modal, a blend that is both soft and breathable. So if your wardrobe staples skew towards monotone and dull, consider investing in these natural-dyed tees.
