These Handmade Italian Sunglasses Are the Missing Piece to Your Summer

In case you don’t know, the sunglass and eyeglass industry is dominated by a quasi-monopoly, which means the connection between price and quality for most frames is murky at best. If that bothers you, then consider upgrading to a pair from Dom Vetro this summer. The brand is built on a relationship between founder Ashley Bezmat and an Italian family who’s worked in the industry since the ’40s. All of the company’s frames are handmade by experienced craftsmen around the Italian Alpine town of Cador. That’s one of the reasons why we’re excited to stock them in our own Gear Patrol Store.
