A Style Guide to ‘Burnt’

Bradley Cooper rocks a Johnny Bravo-esque off-duty wardrobe in this foodie flick.

A minimalist wardrobe can be perfect for those men who are consumed with their work, like, let’s say, a chef with dreams of attaining three Michelin stars. In Burnt, Bradley Cooper plays chef Adam Jones, an American expat on the road to redemption after a rough patch, trying to establish himself as a world-class chef in London. Throughout the film, his off-duty wardrobe is classic, Johnny Bravo-esque Americana: jeans, a t-shirt, some rugged boots, a moto jacket and aviators. Chef’s whites, worn in the kitchen, were sourced from Bragard, an industry leader. Though casual cool is the name of the game, Cooper’s character knows how to dress to impress as well — a sharply tailored dark suit with elevated suede chukkas means business. Simple and classic, you can’t go wrong taking style advice from the chef.
