The rumors started last year and ramped up in earnest in November 2024 on places like Reddit. Threads titled Tan Camo Launch DateTan Camo relaunchCan anyone confirm the re release of the camo all circled the same key questions.

After eight-plus years of being out of production, Yeti announced that It was re-releasing a new suite of tan camo-colored items that brand aficionados had previously had to pay steep premiums on second-hard retailers like eBay to score. But the when, what, and how of the upcoming color drop remained a mystery.

Store clerks working at places like Dick’s Sporting Goods dropped hints of what was lurking in back rooms. Insiders shared dates they had heard from suppliers. Many of the leaks were right or very close to it.

Yeti officially gave fans what they wanted on December 2nd, 2024, by dropping a link to a limited collection of tan camo-colored Rambler insulated water bottles and mugs.

Hungry fans naturally reacted quickly. “Idk how I did it but fought the website and got my 36 oz” wrote one Instagram user in Yeti’s announcement post thread. It didn’t take long for the limited-run to sell out. Then it vanished from mention on Yeti’s U.S. site, leading many to naturally assume that supplies were depleted.

A few of the items in Yeti’s recent Tan Camo drop like the bigger Rambler mug and bottle, as well as the can Colster are harder to find. But other items still appear to be fairly easy to get from sporting goods retailers.

But as it turns out, that’s far from the truth. Yeti’s UK website and a few of its other international storefronts now list various sizes of the Rambler insulated mug and water bottle family in Tan Camo as new releases. There are also plenty of other US-based retailers, including Dick’s Sporting Goods and even Amazon (for a steepish upcharge), selling various Tan Camo Yeti items. However, a few, like the Colster and larger Rambler cups and bottles, seem more elusive.

For example, below are links to the various listings I discovered with minimal digging. Just because they’re still lingering around, though, doesn’t mean supplies will last forever.

Still, if you, or someone you know, were feeling bummed about missing a seemingly once-in-a-decade drop, the truth is you don’t have to eBay or second-hand markets just yet.
