Still, you can get a really good one pretty cheap, so what makes WESN’s so special?

First off, it really is tiny. WESN has been honing it for years and is approaching the pinnacle with this third iteration (originally dubbed the Microblade 3.0, until it fully supplanted its predecessors).

It weighs just an ounce and measures 2.25 inches closed, making it simple to fit on a keychain via the lanyard hole or on the inside edge of your pocket thanks to the mini clip.

That little silhouette houses a 1.5-inch blade made of D2 steel, prized for its wear and corrosion resistance as well as its edge retention — three very desirable qualities in a knife you’ll find yourself toting and using all the time.

A baby back flipper and ceramic bearings enable smooth one-handed deployment. There’s also a slightly less user-friendly thumb stud that you can remove if you really want to streamline your carry.
