Deployment dominance

Can you deduce the modes simply by looking at it? Perusing all the photos on this page, you just might get there.

Interestingly enough, the image below of the knife fully folded might be the most helpful, as it best displays the big front flipper and the small rear flipper, which is probably the quickest and easiest way to produce the blade.

Beyond those two options, you also have the thumb studs, conveniently placed on both sides of the blade for ambidextrous use. All the action hinges on a caged ceramic ball bearing for a smooth response.

All this deployment engineering supports a quality blade, for the record. The full-bellied leaf shape (essentially a modified drop-point) is a Vosteed staple that’s great for piercing and slicing.
