With its latest lineup of everyday basics, the North Face isn’t being shy about its off-mountain appeal. That said, the collection of t-shirts, sweatpants and more still pays tribute to the brand’s rugged roots.

Called Red Box, the series revisits archival clothing and gear from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, all updated with oversized fits and premium materials that service utility-minded urbanites in the modern era.

Highlights include an insulated down jacket with snap closures, half-zip fleece with kangaroo pockets and affordable nylon hat.

There are also a handful of heritage-inspired city bags, including a DWR-treated tote that’s sized to fit a 16-inch laptop.

The North Face Red Box collection is available now from the company’s official website, as well as retailers like Bloomingdale’s and End. Clothing.

Pricing starts at $35 for the beanie, climbing up to $400 for the down jacket. For context, a Nuptse jacket will run you back $330 in 2025.
