An Unlikely Brand Just Dropped One Impressive-Looking Winter Boot

Play word association with Teva and chances are “technical sandals” will be the first phrase out of anyone’s mouth. Makes sense, as the brand started out producing that very thing some 40 years ago.

A number of specially named (and often trademarked) key ingredients make the Auroris ready to stand up to harsh winter conditions and keep you comfy in the process.

But just like humans, companies can evolve, and today the Santa Barbara-based brand offers a wide range of footwear, including hikers, slip-ons and boots, not to mention the perennially puffy and cozy ReEmber Collection.

This week brings another big evolutionary step, as Teva’s fall 2024 collection includes the brand’s first true winterized boot, the Auroris.

Now, what makes this boot worthy of that designation? A number of specially named (and often trademarked) key ingredients make the Auroris ready to stand up to harsh winter conditions and keep you comfy in the process.

To begin with, the Auroris features 3M Thinsulate Insulation (200g) and a TevaRAPID PROOF waterproof bootie, ensuring your feet stay both warm and dry.

To keep you stable on slippery surfaces such as ice and slush, a White Spider Rubber outsole pairs with a dual traction lug design for reliable grip out on the streets and trails.

Meanwhile, the insole boasts something called MAX-COMF, powered by a memory foam topsole, a layer of durable foam and a recycled footbed cover for a super-cushy feeling underfoot.

Finally an upper made of durable leather, suede and ripstop materials is secured around your dogs with speedhooks for fast and reliable lacing.
