Norda makes some of the toughest trail shoes on the market. It’s only natural, then, that its first bag follows suit.
The brand calls its Toolbox, newly released in an all-black colorway, the “world’s most durable duffel bag.” If it’s hard to verify the claim, it’s just as difficult to debunk it.

That’s because the gear hauler is made with bio-based Dyneema, the same stuff found across Norda’s footwear lineup and the key ingredient responsible for its durability. Dyneema’s current manufacturer, Avient, says the material is 15 times stronger than steel per ounce.
In other words: Dyneema doesn’t just make the Toolbox ridiculously rugged but incredibly lightweight. The entire thing, straps and all, clocks in at just 880 grams (less than two pounds) — about 35 percent lighter than a Patagonia Black Hole of comparable size.

Speaking of which, the Toolbox boasts a 70L capacity, as well as a variety of mesh pockets and cinch straps for compression of the storage space, as needed. It also includes an organizational stow bag, it too made from Dyneema.
