Nike’s ACG, short for All Conditions Gear, has long been responsible for crafting some of the Swoosh’s best outdoor- and trail-ready sneakers, apparel and equipment. While the sub-brand’s offerings retain the sport-focused mother brand’s overall spirit, its catalog trends toward more robust designs.

That ethos is on full display in the Nike ACG Daymax bag trio. While tough and outfitted well enough for the outdoors, these tactical-inspired packs are meant for day-to-day use.

Triple threat

As mentioned, the Daymax collection includes three different bags. While they all have their own unique features and quirks, they share much of the same DNA.

In addition to adding some character to the bags, [the nylon webbing] serves as an attachment point for additional gear or supplementary packs.

For instance, all three boast the same black exterior fabric and hardware accented by gray nylon webbing. All three also share Nike ACG’s iconic triangle patch branding.

By the way, that gray nylon webbing is a feature borrowed from the tactical world. In addition to adding some character to the bags, it serves as an attachment point for additional gear or supplementary packs.

Furthermore, all three are made from tough, durable polyester. While being lightweight, this fabric is also naturally resistant to water, abrasions, piercing and so on.

Despite their unified styling, each bag has plenty to offer to differentiate itself from its siblings. That means at least one (if not all) probably suits your needs and lifestyle.

Siblings, not triplets

So what differentiates these bags from one another? For one, they’re all sized differently. The Daymax backpack has a 25-liter capacity, whereas the crossbody bag holds 3 liters and the duffle can haul 60.

Furthermore, they’re each formatted differently. While that might seem obvious, it’s deeper than that. The backpack, for instance, has a nylon storm flap that the other two bags lack.

Similarly, the crossbody bag has a front zippered pocket big enough for an iPhone Pro Max. And the duffle, while boasting a large main compartment and several external zippered pockets, also has a separate, secondary compartment perfect for soiled gym clothes or sneakers.

That means each bag in the Daymax collection offers a ton of standalone value while still clearly vibing with its siblings. The toughest choice you’ll have is picking which is right for you. Maybe you’re better off with all three.
