Without the Speedgoat, Hoka probably wouldn’t be the trail titan it is today. But it’s the second-generation model that deserves the lion’s share of credit.
With a wider toebox, the 2017 Speedgoat 2 addressed the chief complaint that came with the original, all the while still delivering on its promise of a lightweight trail runner ready for whatever technical terrain came its way.

As such, it fueled Hoka’s meteoric rise within trail running and helped to establish the brand as the one to beat on rock and dirt.
In honor of that legacy, Hoka will revisit the Speedgoat 2 with a stitch-for-stitch remake that does right by the original from 2017.

That means the shoe returns in its famously loud neon colorways that only underscore its unapologetic commitment to technical mastery, which arrives by way of a bevy of materials that still stand up nearly a decade later.
