Filson Outfits a High-Performance Camp Chair in Its Signature Green Colorway

For their third release together, Filson and Helinox bring a classic green to the table.

Filson and Helinox have a bit of a history. The heritage outerwear company first teamed up with the South Korea camp-gear manufacturer back in 2020 before a sophomore release in 2021.

Both of those collections featured Helinox products — such as the Cot One Convertible, Sunset Chair and Table One Hardtop — in classic Filson colorways like Shrub Camo and Flame Orange.

Now, Filson and Helinox are at it again. Only this time, Filson decided to to bring a different, but no less classic, colorway to the table … literally.

The third Filson x Helinox collection includes the premium, high-performance Savanna Chair and Table One Hard Top, both outfitted in Filson’s classic Otter Green, as seen in its iconic Rugged Twill Briefcase.

Helinox calls the Savanna Chair the “pinnacle of comfort.” As such, it represents the company’s top-end high-back chair offering.

The Savanna Chair boasts a tall back with cradling armrests; a headrest flap to convert a puffy jacket or small pillow into a headrest; durable 600D polyester; and two mesh cup holders. Its anodized aluminum alloy frame keeps the entire package strong and lightweight, while shock-corded pole locks offer quick and easy setup.

For the Filson x Helinox collection, the chair comes in Otter Green, one of Filson’s signature colorways, but sticks with recycled 600D polyester to preserve the chair’s high-performance properties — durability, portability, breathability and sustainability.

A press release said the chair was chosen for this collaboration as it represents the “limits of what can be carried on a motorcycle.” The entire thing packs into a zip cylinder case measuring 20 x 6.5 x 6.5 inches.

As was the case with the previous Filson x Helinox collections, this year’s collaborative release sees the Table One Hard Top in the collection’s colorway of choice.

The Table One Hard Top uses the same 600D polyester around a polycarbonate sheet to create a flat table surface that can accommodate up to 110 pounds when assembled.

Its aluminum alloy frame comes together just as quick as that on the Savanna Chair, and the whole package weighs just two pounds when packed into its small zip case, which measures 16 x 5 x 4 inches.

Availability and Pricing

Both pieces come with significant markups. The Savanna Chair, normally $220, goes for $300 as part of the collection. Meanwhile, the Table One Hard Top climbs from $150 to $200.
