How do you like to get from point A to point B? A straight line? Up and around? The scenic route?

The multitude of deployment methods, all hinging on a caged ceramic ball bearing, turn the Hyperpulse into quite the fidget-friendly phenomenon.

No matter your preference, you get it all with Civivi’s latest EDC knife, the Hyperpulse. Because this particular budget-friendly beauty can be deployed not one, not two but three different ways.

Deployment delight

So first off, let us count the ways. There’s a rear flipper, ambidextrous thumb studs and, perhaps most notable for a knife priced well below $100, a button lock.

That last element also enables you to bring the blade back home using just one hand.

While it’s hardly the first pocket knife to deploy three ways, the multitude of methods, all hinging on a caged ceramic ball bearing, turn the Hyperpulse into quite the fidget-friendly phenomenon.

That’s not all this upcoming release offers, however. It also boasts a formidable 3.5-inch 14C28N steel drop-point blade, with the option to upgrade to a wild-looking Damascus steel version for $27 more.

The reversible pocket clip is stainless steel, while the handle is made of light but sturdy aluminum.

Along with the holes, that material helps keep the overall weight at 3 ounces, not too shabby for a knife with an overall length of 7.8 inches.

Availability and pricing

The Civivi Hyperpulse in the blacked-out colorway shown here — as well as versions with satin-finished 14C28N steel blades and gray and blue aluminum handles — are available now for $82. An alternative treatment with a Damascus steel blade and a green aluminum handle costs $105.
