While e-bikes are the way of the future for commuters (and possibly mountain bikers), the problem of price remains. California-based bike brand Electra wants to fix that with its newest commuter e-bike, the Townie Go! 7D. Available in a step-thru and step-over, the Go! 7D is the lowest-priced e-bike we’ve seen at $1,500.
The 7-speed derailleur, mechanical disc brakes and comfortable ride make it easy to see why the Electra Townie is already one of the bestselling e-bikes in the country. Combine all that with a 250W rear hub motor that has a range of 50 miles with three speeds, and you have an easy way to get to work, hit the beach or take a short road trip this summer. Check out the Townie Go! 7D on Electra’s website today.
