Adidas and Missoni team up to create three new colors of Ultraboost running shoes. The Ultraboosts are some of the best-selling running shoes available thanks to the bouncy feel and comfort. This isn’t the first time Adidas has teamed up with a high fashion brand (Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang for example), but there’s a run connection for Missoni. Ottavio Missoni, the co-founder of the Italian brand, ran the hurdles in the 1948 London Olympic Games. Some of Missoni’s first pieces were uniforms for the Italian track and field teams, yet over the years that brand has become associated with high fashion and not as much sportswear.
