Nike’s ACG line features gear that’s meant to survive in all conditions and the newest shoes are a testament to that. We tested the Nike ACG React Terra Gobe in Portland, Oregon, this past week — and trekked all over Mt. Hood and Hood River with them. The weather ranged from sunny and 50 to pouring rain to white-out conditions close at Silcox Hut. While we have many more miles to log in them, the stand out feature includes the same cushioned and springy foam from the Nike Odyssey React, which we’ve been running in this winter. Pair the lightweight foam with a ripstop and water-resistant upper and you’re ready to tackle a trail run, day hike or urban exploration.
You can shop the new hiking shoes in bright yellow and blue starting on April 20th. And stay tuned for our full review and This Week in Gear segment.
