Reigning Champ and ASICS Team Up To Create Collections Inspired by Their Favorite Cities

Two of our favorite sportswear companies have teamed up to create collections around their favorite cities. Reigning Champ, the minimalist Vancouver based outfit, and Asics, the venerable Japanese sportswear brand, are set to release four collections drawing inspiration from Kyoto, Vancouver, Paris and — of course — Tokyo. The Kyoto Edition is the first of the four to drop, with the city providing the backdrop for the collection, from local textile patterns to the weathered wooden patina Kyoto is known for.

For the runners amongst us, some highlights from the collaboration include a gradient-printed lightweight running jacket, Boro textile-inspired tops and a Gel-Kayano ™ 25 running shoe. For more leisurely pursuits, you can also snap up the retro-feeling Gel-Kayano ™ 5 OG and the elevated tracksuit.
