The New and Improved Adidas Ultraboost Dropped Early Thursday Morning, and It’s Selling Fast

Version 19 completely sold out when it first launched. This is your chance to pick up one of the newest colors before they sell out again.

When Adidas launched its updated version of the best-selling Ultraboost back in December, we were excited, as was the rest of the running community — it quickly sold out. At 3 AM Thursday, three new colors of the Ultraboost 19 hit shelves (online), and we have a feeling they’ll sell out before long.

Since 2015, the Ultraboost has been one of the most recognizable and well-loved running shoes. Adidas took those learnings and adapted the Ultraboost 19 to fit better and feel better on longer runs. There’s an updated and more supportive Primeknit upper — so feet don’t slide around the toe box every time you take a tight turn — and improved Boost foam in the midsole that’s more shock absorbing than the original. We’ve been running in them for the past month (look for our review soon) and have been impressed by the duality of these new shoes. The Adidas Ultraboost 19 work just as well on the track for speed workouts as they do for long runs.

The first release of the Ultraboost 19 sneakers were only available in a white and black upper with a pink external heel clip. For this version you’ll find two variations of a black and white upper with black heel clip and a black and brown upper with a black heel clip. The drop was so anticipated, would-be customers were able to sign up for notifications from Adidas so they could wake up and shop immediately — a possible indicator of how the brand will release hot items like this in the future.
