Under Armour’s latest addition to its HOVR line was inspired by all the gritty runners out there logging miles before breakfast.

Under Armour’s latest running shoe launch is an addition to its much-loved HOVR suite of trainers, which we started testing and reporting on in 2018. This new sunrise-inspired design is the result of recent research conducted by the brand, which revealed that the majority of athletes surveyed prefer to log their miles first thing in the morning, as opposed to in the afternoon or evening.

This new Infinite trainer is neutral-cushioned and intended for goal-oriented runners putting in a lot of miles, according to the brand. It’s a welcome addition to the already-strong HOVR range, comprising shoes that are equipped with digital sensors connecting your run data to MapMyRun. This simple and easily-managed connection allows you to track workouts without carrying a phone or using a GPS watch.

If you’re looking for a well-built running shoe that relieves you of cumbersome tech without relieving you of your precious running data, you know what to do.
