Nike’s New Boot Is Equally Suited to Sneakerheads and Outdoorsmen

Nike’s new Okwahn II fits the bill for the city and the trail.

At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Nike’s newest boot was made by Five Ten or Scarpa. The lace eyelets extend down to the toes, the tan leather upper screams hiking and the rugged outsole is straight out of REI; each are indicative of an outdoor-focused hiking shoe. It’s called the Okwahn II, and it’s part of Nike’s ACG line (All Conditions Gear), which has had a cult following since its inception. The silhouette last appeared back in 2012, and was offered in a handful of colorways, but this new version is much more in line with the “city to mountain” trend we’ve seen become even more prevalent in fashion and streetwear culture over the past year.

The shoe is set to drop later this fall on Nike.com, and if it’s anything like the brand’s previous ACG releases, it won’t last long.
