Danner and TD easily make the list of “our favorite outdoor brands” individually, and together, it’s a match made in recreationalist heaven. The two brands have collaborated before — in 2018, they released a pair of hiking boots and backpack meant to go everywhere, combining the aesthetics and principles each brought to the table. Now, a new fall/winter partnership sees the release of a limited-edition collection featuring a fleece pullover, backpack and boots.

The Boot
DannerThe Danner x Topo Designs Free Spirit Boot features a suede and textile upper in a limited-edition colorway, along with some more technical features: a Gore-Tex waterproof liner keeps things dry, the (removable) Ortholite footbed delivers comfort on hikes long and short and the Vibram outsole maintains grip even in the most challenging conditions. The Danner x Topo Designs Free Spirit Boot will be available in men’s sizing only.
