Everyone needs a knife. It’s as simple as that. If you don’t believe me, listen to the ten Gear Patrol staff members that keep (and use) multiple knives at their desk every day. If you’re blade-less, or in the market for a new EDC blade, here’s a new brand to consider: Quiet Carry. With a similar aesthetic to staff-favorite The James Brand, Quiet Carry focuses on refined, minimal design for its knives and key organizers. Yesterday, Quiet Carry’s Kickstarter for its new blade shape, called The Chase, was fully funded. The knife comes in two handle configurations, a G10 fiberglass epoxy resin, and my personal favorite (and slightly lighter-weight) Sea Grey hand-poured resin. The blade is designed to carry small in your pocket, yet it packs a 2.95″ blade that’s suitable for just about any everyday cutting task that you can throw at it.
