Savory grains, buffalo jerky, fruit bars and chili are just a few of the travel-inspired camp foods that the team at Patagonia Provisions produces. The culinary off-shoot of Patagonia makes fire-side meals easy with simple-to-serve yet elevated dishes like spring rolls, tabbouleh salad and scones. The latest launch is canned mussels sourced from Galicia, Spain. They come in three flavors lemon herb, smoked and savory sofrito and are packed with protein and iron (as well as B-12 and Omega-3 fatty acids). But, do they taste good? Two of our staffers tested all three flavors earlier this year, and it’s safe to say they were impressed. Buy the sampler pack with all three varieties for $23 or pick up just one four-ounce recyclable aluminum BPA-free can for $8.
