There are still three months left until the new year, but Oregon-based knifemaker CRKT has subtly begun adding 2018 knife designs to its online offerings. The new blades demonstrate CRKT’s ability to innovate within the knife space and include a range of collaborations with well-known designers who are continuing to experiment with blade shapes and styles.
Among the new releases are simple EDC knives, knives inspired by Japanese swords, knives built for rescue scenarios, simple utility knives and updated bestsellers. CRKT even crafted a multi-tool designed specifically for automotive mechanics. Perhaps most notable within the release is the expansion across the collection of the brand’s Field Strip technology, which allows users to easily disassemble and thoroughly clean knives in the field without any additional tools.
