Coffee subscriptions are nothing new. There are enough out there that you can tailor your morning cup to preferences for single-origin or blends from well-known roasters or small shops based in the US or abroad (here’s a list of our favorite plans). But Kuju Coffee, a bean purveyor based in California, just launched a new membership program ideal for people who love camping.
The core of Kuju’s subscription program is its product — in addition to whole bean and ground coffee, the company makes individually packaged, teabag-like pour-over packs that simplify the brewing process when away from your kitchen counter. The membership earns you a discount on coffee of up to 25 percent, depending on how much and what type of coffee you order. It also comes with perks like deals from other outdoor brands like Rumpl, United by Blue and Mountain House.
Of course, you don’t have to order Kuju’s pour-over coffee as part of the membership, bags of whole beans are an option too, and you don’t have to reserve them for camping either — they’re perfect for home brewing when you’re in a rush.
