Ping has dropped a veritable gauntlet of new clubs with the G10 and G10 series woods, irons and hybrids. It’s a bevy of game improvement clubs that epitomize Ping’s innovations.
The G10 Irons feature a new cavity design that utilize low toe weighting, a new cavity shape and a wider sole. The Custom Tuning Port stabilizes the hitting area for consistent ball velocity across the entire club face. There is also an i10 series of irons who prefer more blade-style clubs with the forgiving qualities of game-improvement irons.
The G10 Driver and Draw Driver are 460cc bodies with taller faces and deeper crowns for the coveted higher moment-of inertia. As the response to TaylorMade’s r7 Draw driver uses heel weights to produce a right-to-left ball flight.
What this means to you: If you’ve ever had an envious eye for Ping clubs but couldn’t swallow the price now is the time for you to consider upgrading.
Cost: Driver – $299, Irons – $699, Hybrid – $149 @ Golfsmith
