Dynastar Big Trouble Skis

The Dynastar Big Trouble ($454) is the perfect solution for the advanced level skier looking for planks that can do it all.  The skis’ versatility is their number one strength, in addition to the twin-tipped design, larger than average widths and contours (124-92-114) allowing you to float through knee deep powder, and cutting edge look.  The skis eliminate the need to concern oneself with differences in snow type and terrain, or even ski style, as the ski adapts to various conditions and techniques better than any skis I’ve ridden to date.

Transitioning from old school, thinner skis, I had to be initially careful crossing up the backs, as the skis naturally move and turn better than anything I’ve had prior, including K2 Apaches and various Rossignol models.  The skis offer the perfect ratio of stability and control and the lightweight wood core design allows skiers to carve intensely through turns or maintain a nice glide over the deep stuff.

The pea pods on the bottom and interlocking limited edition top design add style to your swagger with the Dynastar Big Trouble, whether ripping fresh corduroy or going big air in the park.  The ideal length is obtained by having the tips curve just above the nose, and I recommend going a bit longer if in doubt as the wide based platform compensates for a slight bit of additional length quite nicely.
