The trouble with custom motorcycles is that, more often than not, they’re one-off products. By the time most of us lay our eyes on them, they’re usually spoken for and rarely built more than once.
That was nearly the fate of Bandit9’s take on the Ducati Monster 821. This drop-dead gorgeous street rocket of a bike began as a one-off commission, but now the brand is building more of them … and they’re for sale.

Make out like a bandit
If you’re not familiar with the Ducati Monster 821, it’s a naked sportbike — meaning it lacks fairings and engine covers and sports a performance-focused build. While this bike is clearly an extensive reimagining in terms of its design, it maintains the performance that the core bike is known for.
At the bike’s heart is a 821 cc V-twin engine with a whopping 110 brake horsepower. While this bike isn’t exactly lightweight, weighing in at over 385 pounds, it’s still very much a speed demon.
