America’s biggest motorcycle manufacturer just announced its 2025 bikes, and wow do we have ourselves a high-octane smorgasbord, including six updated Cruisers, the new Street Glide Ultra, new Sportster S and four CVOs.
However, the launch I’m most excited about is a bit off the beaten path, so to speak.
That’s right, this longtime urbanite can’t stop daydreaming about a bike sitting squarely in the “adventure sport” category: the 2025 Pan America 1250 ST.

Taking it all in, I could actually see this motorcycle serving as one hell of an everyday ride, even for folks who don’t often — or ever — tackle dirt and gravel.
Not so unlikely appeal
Often products optimized for one use turn out to be great for another. This scenario happens regularly with vehicles overbuilt for city and suburban life, yet ever-present in these environments.
The most obvious example is muscular four-wheel-drive SUVs, the vast majority of which stick to paved roads, but we see it with two wheelers too. Just look at gravel bikes, which are fantastic for navigating pot-holed or precipitation-slicked streets.
