If you visit Ikea only once or twice a year, you might associate the retailer with little more than cheap chairs and meatballs.
Fair enough. Ikea offers a seemingly endless array of affordable flat-pack furniture, not to mention a few tasty treats from its native land of Sweden.
But unbeknownst to many of its shoppers, the 82-year-old brand also offers a line of elevated homewares by way of its Stockholm collection, which founder Ingvar Kamprad called the “best of Ikea” when it first launched in 1985.
You see, unlike much of Ikea’s standard offerings, the Stockholm series features timeless designs and champions high-quality materials and manufacturing on par with brands that charge ten times as much.

What’s more, it is updated only once every few years, with the last one coming in 2017. And that relative rarity only adds to its charm.
