This time last year, Coffunity, a coffee bean review app, was cleaning up. It had just won “Best in Show” and “Best in Technology” in the Specialty Coffee Expo’s Best New Product awards. But it was only available on iOS. As of this year’s Specialty Coffee Expo, you can get it on Android, too.
Coffunity is essentially the coffee drinker’s version of Untappd — a worldwide community of reviewers buying, drinking and sharing their opinions on different bags from every roaster under the sun. You can filter reviews for single origin bags, blends, decaf coffee and even flavored coffee, and add additional filters to only display high-rated beans or bags in your price range. It’s free and available on both Google Play and the App store now.
