Designed in collaboration with Stephanie Izzard of Top Chef fame, Made In’s latest pan is a deep set carbon steel wok. According to the brand, the pan, announced earlier this week, already has a 1,500-person waitlist.

The wok is the second addition to Made In’s carbon steel line. It features a lengthy, ergonomic handle and a flat-bottom base that’s better for home-kitchen stovetops. Its carbon steel construction imbues it with heat retention similar to that of a cast-iron skillet without all the weight. Plus, because carbon steel isn’t as porous as casted iron, it’s more non-stick out of the box.

This is the latest in a string of releases and announcements for Made In. The brand released carbon steel cookware, a chef’s knife and a universal lid in the last six months. It also announced noteworthy chefs Tom Collichio and Grant Achatz as brand advisors.

The $99 carbon steel wok is available for pre-order now and ships in May.
