There’s more to cannabis than getting high. Like craft beer, bowling or fly fishing — all of which, coincidentally, pair well with weed — part of cannabis’s appeal is the culture that surrounds it. To partake, you could hit a music festival, attend a convention, head down to your local dispensary and/or simply download one of the nine apps below.

Whether you’re a newbie grower just trying to learn the ropes or a professional in need of a better planet management system, there’s an app here for you. If you’re not interested in growing at all and you just want to get some edibles and flower delivered right to your doorstep, there’s one for that, too. There’s even an app for those that use marijuana specifically for its medicinal purposes. Whatever your situation, you’ll find a weed app below that will suit you swimmingly.

Weedmaps

Weedmaps is now the number-two medical app on iTunes. Consider it your one-stop shop for loads of cannabis consumer knowledge — a blend of Google maps, Yelp and Amazon for dispensaries, delivery services, doctors and brands.

Leafly

Leafly started as an online for cannabis strains, and it still offers great info on flavors, effects and pedigree. Its competitor to Weedmaps. Compare the two, and stay up to date on the drama surrounding both sites’ listing (or not) of black-market sellers. In 2018, Leafly announced it would de-list unlicensed sellers in California; Weedmaps has not.

SimLeaf

SimLeaf is the only paid app on this list, but damn if it isn’t worth three bucks. It’s a self-professed “highly advanced 3D grow simulator,” which is a fancy way of saying it’s a place to practice your grow before you screw it up in real life. There’s enough complexity here to actually learn a ton about growing.

Grow With Jane

This totally free app was designed specifically with home growers in mind, allowing users to track numerous metrics throughout the growing process. You can also keep a log of your plants’ progress, take photos (which can be kept private for security purposes), make use of the app’s charts and calculators and it will even offer up smart insights to help the process along. If you want to grow your own flower, this is one of the best ways to keep track and ensure your success.

Eaze

If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere where recreational cannabis is legal, you might find some value in the extreme convenience of Eaze. That’s because this app lets you search your local dispensaries and shop for everything you could ever need or want and then have it delivered right to your front door. That means, in order to restock your stash, you really only have to get up off of your couch to answer the door. Just make sure you check to see if its available in your region before you get too excited.

TRYM

Geared more toward business owners, like dispensaries, than individual growers, the TRYM app is an exceptional means of managing your weed-growing and -selling gig, offering a range of analytics and task management features to streamline your processes. And while all that management stuff is great, one of the best things this app has to offer is compliance integration — meaning you can be sure everything is above board and within the confines of the law rather than just winging it and hoping for the best.

GrowBuddy

As the name suggests, this is another app geared toward helping growers monitor their crops, and it includes a ton of features and insights to assist toward those ends. The big difference between this one and other apps? This one was designed by growers for growers, meaning everything the app does was specifically crafted with the benefit of growers in mind first.

PotBot

While a lot of marijuana use is recreational nowadays, there are still thousands (or perhaps millions) of folks that use it for medicinal purposes. That’s what PotBot is for: helping medical marijuana users find the right strains, ratios, etc. that will best help with their conditions. It’s a great tool, especially for a sect of the weed world that’s unfortunately still pretty nebulous.
