The Daily is the first product from new baby-gear startup Lalo, launched today by a team of startup veterans from Warby Parker and the like.
It’s a minimalist stroller with a performance bent. The frame is made of a mixture of lightweight aluminum and BPA-free plastic and it comes with a reversible bassinet and toddler seat (20-pound weight limit for the former, 50 for the latter). It features expandable storage, loads of car seat adaptors, adjustable handlebars and a phone charging port. Then there’s the stuff you expect out of a premium stroller: multi-terrain rubber wheels, quick set-up and break down, a zip-up sunshade and machine-washable liners.
The Daily costs $715, making it a more affordable version of the Xplory 6 and popular Uppababy Vista strollers. It comes in green, navy or grey with a free 100-day trial period and a pretty hefty warranty.
