Over the past decade or so, we’ve seen a massive proliferation of new direct-to-consumer furniture brands flood the market as consumers have gotten comfortable with doing what was considered unthinkable not too long ago: buying furniture online. And while many of these DTC furniture brands tend to run together, a few have stood out from the crowd. One of the most prominent — and most successful — is Article.

The Vancouver-based brand debuted in 2013 and has wasted no time in becoming an online favorite, thanks to its large catalog of modern designs, its focus on using quality materials and above-average build quality and its relatively affordable prices. Pretty much everything Article makes just looks good, and the fact that it’s built to last and isn’t overpriced is just icing on the cake. But Article sells a ton of different items, with its catalog considerably larger than those of other DTC furniture brands of a similar age and style like Floyd and Burrow.
