Handmade Prints That Match Practically Every Room

Architectural lines meet California desert landscapes.

For several years, Los Angeles-based design studio Block Shop has collaborated with a printing co-op outside of Jaipur, India, to produce frame-worthy pillows, scarves and rugs made the old fashioned way — by hand, using traditional wood block techniques. Block Shop has now done its artful wares justice by enclosing a new collection of prints in real, museum-quality frames. Made from natural black dye and printed on paper made from reclaimed cotton scraps, the prints are loosely inspired by architecture (namely, old movie theaters in Jaipur and mid-century buildings in downtown Los Angeles) and California desert landscapes.

Equal parts organic and Art Deco, the prints are minimal enough to work in virtually every type of space, with strong, graphic lines to draw just enough attention.
