It’s beginning to happen with steam ovens, and now thanks to Frigidaire, it’s happening with black stainless steel appliances. Responding to increased interest in darker appliances, the company has updated some of its top-selling products with black stainless steel.
Previously available only from higher-end companies like LG and Samsung, Frigidaire’s line-up offers an over-the-range microwave for $499, a gas range beginning at $1,399 and a dishwasher, which the company views as the gateway piece, for just $799.
