After an “a ha” moment in his shop, Builder John Ryland of custom motorcycle maker, Classified Moto decided to repurpose leftover vintage motorcycle parts to create moto-inspired lamps. The lamps are virtually guaranteed to satisfy any moto enthusiast and are executions in simplicity — using a brake rotor as the base with a spring and shock absorber for the stem. All the lamps Ryland has created are executed with equal care, but like motorcycles themselves, vary in size and shape (averaging 18″ tall), depending on availability of parts. Custom commissions are available, but one important fact remains. These lamps will have you wondering the stories behind each part’s history.
