We’re Getting Excited Over a Sofa. This Is Why You Should Too

A (very) Movable Sofa.

Burrow, the direct-to-consumer furniture company, just launched a new seating collection as a follow-up to its original Nomad line — and we’re hooked.

Dubbed the Range collection, the new seating is inspired by Scandinavian design, in contrast to the mid-century modern feel of the Nomad. The back seating is reclined and low-profile, and the armless seating option is the result of customer feedback. This design is meant to provide airy feel by being slightly less obtrusive in your living room, tricking the eye into seeing an open floor plan.

Like everything else from Burrow, the Range is customizable to the nth degree from the adding a built-in side table to an ottoman. If you’re downsizing or looking to get a bigger sofa, Burrow’s modular system allows people to add or subtract seating to fit their need. Plus, building the sofa usually takes no more than 15 minutes, and it’s delivered right to your door for free.

The Range collection costs the same as the Nomad collection, but it comes in fewer colors — stone gray, navy blue and heathered charcoal — and fewer wood leg finishes — walnut, oak and black metal — than its predecessor. It also does not currently come in leather.
