The set contains 21 different wood samples, ranging from pale linden wood to dark shaded walnut. On one side of each sample the wood name is printed along with a picture of the tree. The other side is blank. Spend enough time with this set on your coffee table and you’re bound to become an expert at distinguishing and appreciating each wood based on its grain and coloration. An included booklet also provides even more knowledge, so the next time you hear some wanna be Ron Burgundy claim their apartment smells of rich mahogany, you’ll be equipped to call them out if necessary.
