Companies like Procter & Gamble have known for years that distinct packaging can make or break a product’s success on the shelf. Alcohol makers certainly aren’t newbies in this game either, but the creators of Medea Vodka appear to be hell bent on upping the industry’s game. That’s because each bottle includes an integrated LED light strip that can be programed to display up to 6 different messages of 255 character each for 40 hours straight.
Is it a gimmick? Yes. But despite that it does have serious gifting potential. Bottling aside, another question of course is how good is the vodka? While we haven’t tasted it ourselves, a review by the folks at In with Bacchus suggests it at least has some strengths in the taste department. For $45 dollars though, we’d reiterate that it looks to be more of a unique party favor rather than a future bar staple. To see a video on how the LED strip can be programmed read on below.
