The winners of the 2017 World Whiskies Awards, presented by UK-based Whisky magazine and The Drinks Report, have been announced. Broken out by style (and, in the case of categories like blended whiskies and grain whiskies, by country) the awards recognize the year’s most impressive new releases from across the globe. This year, distilleries from Canada, Japan, Ireland, the U.S. and the UK were awarded top honors, with Scotland’s 31-Year Craigellachie taking home what many would consider to be the top prize — World’s Best Single Malt.
