When Adidas first released the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 in 2023, the brand limited the shoe to just 500 pairs. It also cost $500 — a fact that only fueled its reputation as a bona fide status symbol.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Louis Vuitton creative director and longtime Adidas collaborator Pharrell Williams gave the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 a personal, highly exclusive makeover.

The designer debuted his one-off colorway, called “Earth,” at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games — where the shoe won gold in the men’s marathon — thus setting the stage for a long-awaited release last November.

Going fast
Limited to less than 100 pairs (and selling out in literal seconds), Pharrell’s green, blue and brown rendition did little to introduce more runners to Adidas’s best tech: the featherweight racer clocks in at less than five ounces and features cutting-edge foam and an aggressive rocker geometry designed for PRs, world records and Olympic medals.
