With colder weather on the way, the prospect of outdoor fitness activities gets a little dicier by the day. And a treadmill would be great and all, but who has the room for one? Enter the WalkingPad R1 Pro, a folding treadmill that takes up 90 percent less space than a traditional model. Currently funding on Indiegogo, this $399 product has already raised $192,229, 941 percent of its funding goal, and should begin shipping next month.

To be fair, if you are looking for a treadmill loaded with bells and whistles, this ain’t the one for you. After all, there’s no dashboard loaded with controls, you can’t incline it upward to increase the challenge, and the max speed is 6.5 miles per hour, equating to a 9:08 mile.

However, it does boast a few cool features, including three control modes (remote, app or foot), a safety clip and handle to which you can also mount your phone or tablet, and an LED readout that lets you monitor speed, distance and time. So if you are looking for a low-cost, space-efficient indoor cardio option — or simply the key piece of a treadmill desk setup —  the R1 Pro just might fit the bill. (It just might fit under your bed, too.)
