We’re such big fans of Adidas’s Ultraboost that we’re writing about it for the second day in a row. Its energy-returning midsole and plush insole and upper make it one of our favorite shoes to pull on for long runs — and yesterday we pointed out where you can buy one color at a discount. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Adidas tapped celebrity chef Eddie Huang to help them design one of the brand’s best-selling running shoes. The streetwear-obsessed chef honored the Year of the Pig with the color red (signifying luck) and a stamp of the Chinese character that means ‘Good Fortune’ on the heel.

You’ll find the same Primeknit upper and responsive boost midsole, just in a bright color and with luxe accents. The tongue is a pig suede with a panda stamped into it, which is a reference to Huang’s nickname, ‘Human Panda.’ In a nod to Huang’s kitchen chops, the outsole is non-slip continental rubber with gold plated details along the underside of the shoe. The flashy Ultraboosts work whether you run, cook or are on your feet all day. Each pair is $200, slightly more than the original Ultraboost thanks to hand-selected details and a limited run. Whether you’re celebrating the Chinese New Year or need an excuse to run more, these flashy running sneakers are available now.
