This week, there were three notable running shoe launches: the Nike EXP-X14, Hoka One One’s Clifton 5 and the On Running Cloudace.
The Nike EXP-X14 celebrates the legacy of Steve Prefontaine. The shoe pulls design and technology from the Nike 4% and the Nike React. Set to launch June 28th in Europe, you can get them at Nike.com starting July 5th in the US.
Hoka One One updated its Clifton franchise with an all-new upper. Where the midsole and outsole are similar to version four, the Clifton 5 has an engineered mesh upper to improve breathability and feel. The neutral cushioned running shoes are available now for $130.
And just this morning, On Running launched the Cloudace — a performance shoe with maximum cushioning. It’s geared towards runners who want more support, but is still in a lightweight package. The Cloudace also has CloudTec technology to keep the shoes agile and versatile. Try them out for your next long run.
