Successful one-two punches in recovery combine two good things to make one great thing. For example, foam rollers with vibrating cores give athletes a relaxing dose of vibration therapy as they target myofascial releases post-workout. When it comes to percussive massage therapy, however, it’s a tougher matchmaking process. There’s simply too much movement to incorporate another mode for relief.
That is, until Hyperice decided to turn up the heat (literally) with its latest innovation.

Hyperice Heated Head Attachment
Read more
The brand’s all-new Heated Head Attachment combines the effects of percussive massage therapy with heat therapy thanks to its internal unit, with three settings capable of reaching temperatures between 109º F and 120º F. The new attachment, which looks no different than Hyperice’s other flat-faced heads, features a rechargeable power source with a battery life of up to 75 minutes.

“By combining heat with our full line of Hypervolt percussion massage devices, we aim to more effectively address muscle tension, stiffness and discomfort,” says Hyperice CEO Jim Huether.
The combo promises to unlock a slew of perks previously unforeseen in recovery (outside of the few heated massage guns already on the market).
